WalletHub looks at how COVID-19 ravaged states


WASHINGTON - One financial website looked at state economies and found that while some states in our listening area fared well during the pandemic, others weren't so lucky.

WalletHub found that Kansas had the 18th most exposed economy in the U.S. However, Missouri ranked 35th, Iowa ranked 36th, and Nebraska ranked 45th.

WalletHub looked at how the pandemic ravaged the GDP of industries in the states, as well as unemployment numbers. Wallet-Hub says the most exposed state was Florida, while the least exposed state was South Dakota.
